Karen Leslie is both a Certified Personal Trainer and a Yoga Teacher.
She completed her 200hour Yoga teacher training in Hamilton, specializing in Mindful Yoga in Practice. She is also an honours graduate of the Mohawk College Health, Wellness & Fitness Program. Her education, training, and experience have all led her to coach her clients towards a more holistic approach to their lifestyle.
Karen’s coaching includes an emphasis on a healthful diet and a grounded connection between mind, body, and spirit. She believes that the quality of movement can be instrumental in living a more comfortable and pain-less lifestyle. Whether it be participating in sports, gardening, playing with children or grandchildren, or simply the carrying groceries or cutting the grass, Karen believes that quality tailored training can aid in any activity.
With a strong focus and attention to detail, her goal is to help her clients live easier, more flexible, and more comfortable lives.
When not in the Catalyst Studio, you can find Karen out for a run, at a yoga class, or reading by the lake. During the warmer months, you might even find her at a nearby road race or participating in a triathlon.
